Story / Interest
I hope stories such as these continue to stand the test of time
I was given the book A Beatrix Potter Treasury by a close family friend when I was a young kid. The book contains several of Beatrix Potter’s most beloved stories, including Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, and Squirrel Nutkin. With so many book choices now for young kids, I wonder if these will be stories future generations of kids will grow up to love. The family friend gave this to me because she said she grew u on these stories and I had only heard about The Tale of Peter Rabbit before I read the book. I enjoyed this book, which harkens back to a simpler time (no mentions of technology). Overall, I would rate “A Beatrix Potter Treasury” a 4 out of 5 stars. This classic collection is perfect for young readers, and the creative stories and beautiful illustrations will capture their imagination and draw them into the world of Beatrix Potter and her endearing animal characters.
