Dog lovers unite...and read this book!
A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron is such a heartwarming story! The novel is written from a dog’s perspective and is about the journey of that dog’s soul over multiple lifetimes, ultimately discovering a purpose for each life he has lived. The book is appropriate for middle-grade readers and older (I think adults would enjoy this book also). I rate this book five out of five stars as the story offers an excellent blend of exciting and humorous moments, while also tackling difficult topics with poise and tact. W. Bruce Cameron has a knack for connecting with readers on a deeply emotional level. The story follows one dog, Bailey, as he lives through four different lives, each with its own distinct purpose. He learns valuable lessons from each life, from lessons on loyalty and friendship to acceptance and selflessness. Throughout his various journeys, he is able to form lasting connections with humans, even if only for a moment. Despite never knowing why or what his purpose was, Bailey was always able to bring joy and lessons to everyone around him. This book will teach readers the importance of living life to its fullest and loving every moment of it. It will also give readers an appreciation for the unconditional love and friendship of a dog, and the incredible bond that can be created between humans and canines. Overall, A Dog’s Purpose is an incredibly beautiful book.
