A great gateway to start reading Shakespeare

As a middle schooler, I was really interested in reading the works of William Shakespeare and didn’t know if I could fully comprehend the original text. So I decided to try the No Fear series which is meant to make the original text more accessible as it includes explanatory notes and comments as well as modern-day language. While it is abridged from the original play. I think it was a good way to get into Shakespeare as a kid but now I much prefer the original text. Overall, I would highly recommend this book to anyone from middle school to adulthood who enjoys a good classic tale. As You Like It – No Fear Edition offers readers an excellent way to become better acquainted with some of the greatest works of William Shakespeare, while providing a simplified language that can be more easily comprehended. Everyone can find something special in this captivating play. I give this a 5 out of 5.
