Charming book and always makes me chuckle!
R.A. Spratt books make me laugh. The Friday Barnes Mystery Series: Big Trouble, by R.A. Spratt is no exception. The whimsical and entertaining novel follows Friday Barnes, a 12 year old student who solves baffling mysteries at her elite school, Highcrest Academy. With mystery, shenanigans, friendship and a sharp-minded protagonist, this book is sure to please those who love a good mystery with interesting characters. I’d rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Spratt does a good job of weaving a suspenseful and entertaining story. There are plenty of moments to laugh and gasp in surprise at what Friday discovers. The various characters who inhabit Highcrest Academy each make individual contributions toward the mystery solving.
