Not a novel, but more of a daily reminder book about lessons to cope with stress

I saw this book in the bookstore and it was in the best-sellers section so I thought I would give it a read even though I prefer more historical books and dystopian fiction. Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff–And It’s All Small Stuff is written by Richard Carlson. The book explores ideas for how a person can deal with stress, whether they be big or small. The book has a lot of personal stories and is full of advice you probably already get from your parents and other adults. I thought it was going to be more of a story, but it is kind of a daily reminder-type book. There is quite a bit of repetition but I think that is intentional–in order to reinforce the application of the lessons in the book.
