A little convoluted at times

This book is part of my favorite series from Rick Riordan and will forever hold a special place in my childhood. The story is told through several different perspectives, which let’s yoiu get into the head of your favorite characters. I thought some characters were really well-developed (Leo, for instance) while others were less so, but they do get to shine later on in the series. The story revolves around the seven demigods who have come together to close the Doors of Death, a task that has been predetermined by the Ancient Greeks. In this ancient world of gods and magic, the group must overcome a myriad of obstacles, such as gods, monsters, and more. In terms of plot, the book is paced well and keeps the readers guessing with its unexpected twists and turns. The author does a fantastic job of creating suspense and slowly hinting at the big reveal. Overall, the book is an entertaining read that will keep readers engaged until they’ve finished. I would rate this book a 5/5 stars!!
